Captain Crayfish

Captain Crayfish is a Central Illinois four-piece delivering heavy funk and psychedelic rock. Known for long-form jams, big grooves, and thick, effects-driven guitar work, they lean into the improvisational side of modern jam and psych.

Based out of the Peoria scene, they’ve been steadily building a live following with club and festival sets, including appearances at Kenny’s Westside Pub and the Peoria Music Live Takeover at the 3300 Event Center.

Their shows focus on momentum and feel: tight rhythm section, loud guitars, and plenty of space for songs to stretch, shift, and melt into each other.
