First Date Kiss

First Date Kiss (FDK) are an indie-rock band based in Peoria, Illinois, formed in 2021 when Andy Martinez (lead vocals, guitar) and Asher Feeman (drums) met at an open mic and began performing as an acoustic duo.

In the summer of 2022 they expanded their sound with lead guitarist Nate Kieser, and by 2023 rounded out the lineup by adding bassist Jesse Nagel.
In December 2022 they released their debut single, “Aren’t I Yours,” marking the start of their recorded output.
FDK weave together melodic indie rock with hard-rock drive, pairing Martinez’s animated stage presence with lyrics that explore personal relationships and identity.

The band continue to build their fan base across the U.S., earning attention at each live show and via new releases.
