Mike Herr
Mike Herr is a Central Illinois songwriter and guitarist who performs both solo and as half of the father–daughter duo Lila & the Dad. His playing is rooted in folk traditions, and his original songs tend to chase meaning—aiming to make people think and feel in the same way earlier generations of folk singers used music for reflection and change.
With Lila & the Dad, he pairs that approach with his daughter Lila’s vocals and songwriting, creating sets that balance youthful perspective with a steady, experienced guitar underneath.
