Peoria Rhythm Kings
Peoria Rhythm Kings are a Peoria, Illinois–based band rooted in blues and blues-rock, with sets that also lean into jazz, rock, and country. Their shows mix fired-up shuffles, slow burns, and classic covers from artists like ZZ Top, B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Taj Mahal, and the Fabulous Thunderbirds, along with their own material.
Founded and led by Mike Stumpo: singer, songwriter, rhythm guitarist and bass player—the band has been working Midwest stages for decades, including club dates, festival slots, and repeat appearances at the Peoria Blues & Heritage Music Festival and Jazz UpFront’s concert series.
