Did you know that AmazonSmile will let you choose a charity from their list, and they will make a donation to that charity with every purchase you make?

It’s an awesome program that can add up to a nice donation for smaller charities when several people add them… and as of this weekend, Harmonize Peoria is now on that list!

While .5% of eligible purchases doesn’t seem like a lot… the average American with Prime spends $1400 per year on Amazon.com. If we had 100 people add our program to their Amazon Smile account, that would come to $700 per year… without anyone needing to do anything different than usual after signing up!
Looking at our list of needs in terms of instruments, accessories, manuals, and more… that $700 could go a long way with local charities like Harmonize Peoria. (And imagine if we had even more people sign up!) Keep reading for more information!

How It Works

Using AmazonSmile on a web browser:

Visit smile.amazon.com

Sign in with the same account you use for Amazon.com
Select your charity
Start shopping! Remember to checkout at smile.amazon.com to generate donations for your chosen charity.
Tip: Add a bookmark to make it easier to shop at smile.amazon.com.

Using AmazonSmile through the Amazon app on your mobile phone:

Open the Amazon Shopping app
Navigate to the main menu (=)
Tap on Settings and then select “AmazonSmile”
Select your charity and then follow the on-screen instructions to turn ON AmazonSmile in the mobile app
Once AmazonSmile has been activated in your app, future eligible app purchases will generate a donation for the charity you have selected.
