Weekend Live Music List for May 30th, 31st, & June 1st

May 30, 2025 Kindall Reuschel (Nelson)

First Date Kiss always puts on a fantastic show and they did not disappoint at Tin Lizard on May 17th, 2025.

Two weeks ago, we packed in three unforgettable shows into one evening and each stop delivered something special.

We kicked things off at the 3300 Event Center with Still Shine, one of Peoria’s most beloved bluegrass bands, as they launched the 2025 Blue Ridge Community Farm Fall Concert Season. Their high-energy harmonies set the tone for the fantastic talent and shows you’ll see all season at Blue Ridge Community Farm.

Next up, we made our way to Friendly Valley Tavern — Peoria’s smallest bar with the biggest beer garden — where the one and only Keller Williams took the stage. Friendly Valley aka “Outdoor Kenny’s” was packed with people excited to see Keller Williams and experience his live-looping wizardry. In fact, rumor has it we helped break an attendance record that night. It was a fun place to be!

The last stop of the night was Tin Lizard where we saw First Date Kiss. As always, they brought their signature energy and heat to the stage, keeping the audience hyped ‘til the very end. Their electric performance was the perfect finale to an epic evening of live local music.

Make sure to check out all the photos and videos in this post while you’re making your live music list for this weekend!

I said I had 7 months, but I really got a 2 week head start - I’m looking forward to meeting goal so PML can continue long past 2025.

It’s been a little less than 2 weeks since I asked for your help with my goal of $40,000 by the end of the year to keep PML going. I said I’d keep you updated… so here we are.
I’m putting every $ that comes in that I did not already plan for… extra side jobs, donations, new $5/mo Green Room members, and new $1/mo FB subscribers.
If you missed the post, click the thermometer to read it.

You can download a video, but you can’t download
a live music experience
