Last weekend I went to my first Pour Bros Craft Taproom Courtyard Concert Series show of the summer and it was fantastic! Soul Situation had the Courtyard packed! The next two bands were both at Kenny’s Westside. It was cool to see Travis and Engine Huey. I’ve known him a long time now and there isn’t a lot of regular opportunity for a punk band to play in Peoria these days. Common Shamans were great as usual, with drummer Ike Ponce pulling double duty, playing with both bands.
There is so much amazing live music happening this weekend, it would be physically impossible for me to catch it all! I’m going to have a difficult time deciding where to go.
How about you? Where can we find you this weekend?
As you read through your options, making your decisions, remember:
You can download a video, but you can’t download a live music experience
Check out the photos and videos of Soul Situation, Engine Huey, and Common Shamans in this post while you make your live music to-do list for this weekend… and then GRAB A FRIEND AND GO SUPPORT LIVE MUSIC!
