Day two of Thunder Valley was fantastic. The summer sun was bright and hot, but between the breeze and shade it was pretty comfortable. The music though - that was where it was at, and worth any discomfort of being out there.
One of the things I was reminded of while we were there was how music brings people together. Adults and children alike got up to dance along to the bands they loved. Everyone was just so happy. I need to do a series of just photos of fans - because the amount of joy that radiates off people when they are at the shows is as contagious as it is noticable.
Humans were made for connection - not the kind we get on social media, but the kind we get from meaningful time spent with others. Live music is one of the most universal ways of making that happen.
While you make your live music to-do list for this weekend, check out the photos and videos below of Day 2 of The Jam Sessions in Thunder Valley starring Midnight Monks, Ray Long and the Highway 61 Band, Easy Riders, Boomstick, Wolf & Gypsy Band, The Killer Riffs, 2nd Chance, and Cole Hollow!
