Note from Kindall: Reese Miller is spending his Bradley Music Business internship with PML through mid-December. Show Reese some love on the post as he takes it over for the first time.
As a music business major at Bradley University and current intern with Peoria Music Live, I’ve had the opportunity to immerse myself in the heart of Peoria’s music scene. Through this experience, I’ve seen how much passion and hard work goes into creating the sound that defines our community. Every performance reflects the dedication of artists who pour themselves into their music.
For this blog post, I want to shine a light on the women who make such a powerful impact on Peoria’s music scene. Their creativity, resilience, and individuality shape not only the local scene but also the sense of community that makes it so special. These women continue to inspire and remind us why music matters so deeply. Of course, it’s impossible to feature every talented woman who contributes to the Peoria music scene in one post, but this is just a glimpse into the incredible music being made in the area!
Be sure to check out the videos and the photo gallery included in this post, featuring some of the amazing women who help keep Peoria’s music scene thriving! I wanted the focus to be around women in the local Peoria music scene, but I did mix in a few touring artists who have visited Peoria.
As a reminder, our 2nd Annual Peoria Music Live Takeover at the 3300 Event Center is fast approaching! Make sure you take a look at the pamphlet attatched below regarding VIP reserved seating! The VIP package includes a stage of your choice, level of your choice, event poster, and 10 raffle tickets!
