Local music doesn’t grow on its own. It depends on a community that’s willing to lift it up. Fans who show up, venues that take chances, and people working behind the scenes to make those shows happen. That is what Peoria Music Live was created to do. It was created to make it easier for artists to be seen and heard, and make it easier for you to discover the incredible talent right here at home.
One of the biggest ways we do that is by creating opportunities that didn’t exist before. The Peoria Music Live Takeover wasn’t just a fun day of back-to-back performances, it put local artists on big stages, in front of new faces, and gave fans the chance to see exactly how much talent is right here at home.
This collage features many of the artists who make up our incredible local scene and support Peoria Music Live! Want to learn more about some of the incredible musicians shaping our local scene? Visit our updated PML Artists page on our website and head to “Info & Bios” → “Artists”
And every single weekend, we highlight who’s playing where and when. Because when more people show up to shows, musicians get paid, venues keep booking, and not only does our entire scene grow stronger, but our local economy does too!
We take photos and videos, share moments you might’ve missed, and give local talent something to promote their next opportunity.
We also want artists to have a presence that lasts longer than a single show. That’s why we have been building dedicated artist pages for those who have supported Peoria Music Live in the last year.
We love taking this opportunity to give artists a home outside of social media, and give fans and venues an easy way to discover and connect with those artists.
PML is about building paths. Helping a musician get their first gig. Helping a venue fill their room. Helping a fan discover their new favorite band. When those pieces connect, Peoria wins.
Peoria’s live music scene strengthens our community and fuels our local economy. Thank you for supporting local artists - and for supporting PML as we continue to lift this scene and this city up, together!
Sending out a special thanks to Reese, our Bradley intern, for all his hard work this last few months, and congratulations on his upcoming graduation!
