Weekend Live Music List for December 26th, 27th, & 28th

December 25, 2025 Kindall Reuschel (Nelson)

Regardless of the event, having a horn in the band brings the sound to a whole new level. This was taken at a Country Saloon Spontaneous Musical Combustion open stage.

One of the things that makes Peoria’s local music scene truly special is our range. On any given weekend, you can step out and catch everything from stripped-down acoustic sets to full bands with horns. That variety gives fans plenty of options and keeps the scene exciting for both audiences and musicians!

There were so many local horn-driven bands to choose from for this post, each bringing their own sound, energy, and personality to the stage.

Horns add something extra — texture, power, and moments that make a live show feel bigger and more memorable, no matter the genre.

As you’re checking out the list of live music happening this weekend, take a few minutes to scroll through the photos and watch videos of just a handful of the fantastic local bands with horns trumpets, trombones, saxophones, and more in the mix.

See The BraziLionaires, Dexter O'Neal and Funk Yard, Brainchild, The Bayou Prowlers, Monster Lane Band, Steady Flow, and more… all adding color to your live music experience in the Peoria Area.

You’ll see groups like BraziLionaires, Dexter O’Neal & Funkyard, Brainchild, Bayou Prowlers, Monster Lane, Steady Flow, and more… all bands adding of color to Peoria’s live music experience.

As you read through your options of where to go for live local music here, you may have a brief moment where you think maybe you’ll just stay in this weekend. Just remember:

You can download a video, but you can’t download a live music experience
