I say it many times, every day… Peoria Music Live will promote any live music event in the area, and we’ll do it for free. Obviously, this is great for musicians and venues both, but there are others who could be taking advantage of it as well!
I mention it often when networking with other business owners and event organizers. If you have live music at your event, we’ll tell people about the event. Having an art show? Hire a musician. Having a sidewalk sale? Hire a musician. Going to have a booth at… Well, you get the idea.
Did you know that Potbelly Sandwich Shop in East Peoria has live music nearly every day?

What I quickly realized is that for many small business owners, the concept just seemed too big. Where do I find someone? What do they charge? Is this even enough space for someone to play? Before PML, I would have had all the same questions and more.
They need someone to handle it for them, and that’s when I realized… Who better to bridge that gap than Peoria Music Live?
While I have some plans already in the works, I would like to get information from artists who are interested in taking part!
One of the things that excites me most about this is the fact that we will be bringing live music to people who don’t necessarily seek it out on a regular basis. I know from experience… it only takes hearing a little bit of entertaining live music to want to find out where you can hear more.
I mean, who wouldn’t hear Alison Hanna (or any one of the amazing musicians we have in the area) while out shopping one afternoon and be excited to find out Peoria Music Live can tell you where you can get pizza and hear her with a full band the next weekend?
Who wouldn’t want to hear from any of our amazing Peoria Area artists while doing their shopping, going for a walk out at the mall, or stopping somewhere for a bite to eat?! We want to help fill the air with music, all over the Peoria Area!
We are specifically looking for acoustic soloists and duos who are interested in performing in non-traditional venues or (possibly outside if the weather cooperates) for 2-3 hours.
