As ready as we all undoubtedly are to get back out there, the outdoor stages in the area aren’t quite ready to be fired back up yet. But it is a perfect time to hone your singing/writing/performing skills (or enjoy watching those who are) at a Peoria area open mic or open stage.
If you haven’t been to one before, or maybe haven’t been to one connected to the Peoria music scene, you’ll probably be surprised by how pivotal these events can be. While most trend towards low-pressure and supportive, they are also great places to network with others in the music scene, often sparking collaborations.
Just there for the entertainment? Take note of who you see… There is a lot of talent in this area and you’re likely to take away a “I saw them when…” story or two over time.

The Listening Room Mobile Open Mic (AA)
Acoustic Open Mic, hosted by Sarah Marie Dillard. It is often on Tuesdays, but occasionally pops up other days of the week as well.
As the name suggests, locations vary. This is a uniquely intimate open mic that encourages active, supportive listening when artists are performing.
