*I look forward to seeing The Stone Cold Cowboys in conjunction with this project at some point. I can't imagine anyone walking away after their show and not being a fan.*

I was surprised by the number of women who said this to me once I started talking about Peoria Music Live. They often told me they wanted to go before, but not alone. Or they would say it sounds like fun, but they have never gone.

A live performance is the most authentic way to experience music. Nothing is produced, mixed, or perfected. Tunes are not played to a studio or a collection of producers slash engineers slash music biz folk. The songs are played for (and with) the audience. Live music is alive. Everything you see and hear is real.

I will definitely be going back to the Five Spot. I might even consider hosting a Peoria Music Live event there in the future. It's a venue that more people need to know about and they have great shows.
