Many popular local artists got their start at the area Open Mics and Open Stages. When someone asks us how to get a gig in Peoria, joining other musicians at one of those is the most important piece of advice I give. Several duos and bands have been formed at area Open Stages as well. They are an important part of the local music scene!

The weekend is finally here, and we’re so excited! It’s a beautiful day to go out and support live, local music. Here are all the shows we know about, along with some highlights from last weekend!

All the effort that brought the history of the Punk scene to the book, brought the scene to life on September 5th at the Punks in Peoria Fest.
