This week Harmonize Peoria was offered a booth in the Have A Heart Community Corner at the Heart of Illinois Fair taking place July 19th-23rd at the Expo Gardens in Peoria.
We’ll be there from 4-8pm Thursday and Noon-8pm on Saturday.
We plan to use the booth for the following:
Letting people know what we do and why
Learning a little more about the needs of the community
Bringing out all of our instruments for people to hold, try, and play
Having volunteer musicians available to help teach something fun on the instruments (a riff, a melody, a beat, etc) with the hope of sparking some interest in playing or receiving lessons.
Letting people know all the ways they can support us
Following us on social media - Facebook, Instagram, TikTok
Attending our events
Donating Instruments
Donations through Venmo and PayPal
Donation programs through Amazon Smile, Kroger Community Rewards, and Facebook Fundraisers
Getting out into the community and having fun with people and with music!
