Last Sunday, many, many people gathered at the 3300 Event Center for Revel in Black – The Pete Ramsey Memorial Concert. While we are including one of those videos here, please check back with Peoria Music Live on Monday, September 22nd, for the recap blog post with photos and videos from that day. (There are a few available on YouTube now.)
We also spent a really fun night at Friendly Valley Tavern on Saturday where we saw the Wes Duffy Trio and Allie & the Night Krals. I also happened upon Kyle Yap at an event on Sunday evening. Here are some photos and videos from those shows. (Check back for photos if they aren’t there yet! It was a busy week and we’re running behind.)
Here is the update on that $40,000 goal we’ve been working on - After nearly 18 weeks, we are at $21806.77!
While this number climbs steadily, we hope to be able to push it past the goal with the Peoria Music Live Takeover proceeds.
It costs appoximately $2000 per month to run Peoria Music Live. It’s important that we close the gap between what has been coming in and what has been spent so that Peoria Music Live can continue on for many more years!
Here are all the ways you can still take part in The 2nd Annual Takeover:
There are only a few days left to get on board as a sponsor if you want to be included on the Tshirt. We’ll definitely accept later sponsors, but we can’t guarantee we can get you added after 9/22.
CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT SPONSORING THE EVENT!There are indoor and outdoor vendor spaces left as well. Vendor spaces come with free entry to the event, some PML advertising for your business, and some complementary raffle tickets!
VENDORS CAN LEARN MORE AND SIGN UP HERE!If you would like to donate to our silent auctions and raffles, please send PML a message on Facebook so we can coordinate pick-up or drop-off.
To make this happen, we are going to need some volunteers! If you are interested in volunteering, please FILL OUT OUR VOLUNTEER FORM ASAP so we can make plans and get our tshirt orders in.
Please consider being a part of celebrating live local music in the Peoria Area with me! I wouldn’t be able to do this without all of you.
As you read through your options of where to go for live local music here please remember:
You can download a video, but you can’t download a live music experience
