It might’ve been a cold and blustery October 19th outside, but inside the Third Chance Acoustic Stage, it was warm, close, and buzzing all day long. While the Ballroom was shaking the walls, the acoustic room was where you could lean in, really listen, and remember why Peoria’s songwriters and pickers are the heartbeat of this scene.
Thank you to every single musician who brought their songs to that room, to everyone who gave them your full attention, and to the volunteers who quietly kept things moving so the music never had to stop. The Third Chance space has so much history in its walls, and watching local artists fill it with new stories felt like exactly what this Takeover was meant to be.
Most of all, thank you for showing up in a way that goes beyond clapping after a song. Your tickets, raffle entries, merch purchases, and donations help us keep Peoria Music Live going and support Harmonize Peoria’s mission to make music accessible for every young person who wants to play. The acoustic sets might have been quieter than the main room, but the impact you helped create was anything but small.
