As rumors started trickling out that WTVP’s State & Water had been cancelled, those who are familiar with it are upset that it might be gone, while those who are not yet familiar with it wonder how in the world something this amazing was happening in Peoria and they didn’t know about it.

I’ve spent a large portion of the last year an a half with Peoria Music Live breaking out of my shyness. It’s not easy, and I still find myself reverting at times… but the fact is I LOVE PEOPLE and I LOVE PEORIA. That’s why this event was a no-brainer for me…

You're in the Presence of Greatness

April 15, 2019 Kindall Reuschel (Nelson)

In August of 2014, Tyler Childers sat in the front of a diner, playing his heart out to an audience who seemed to eat without looking at him or acknowledging his contribution to their day. Four and a half years later, his Peoria show sold out, people in other cities are paying $100 to see him, and many of the people in that diner still don’t know that they missed out.

Three Ways You Can Help PML (The first two are so easy!)

PML is fun, but a lot of hard work too! If I wasn’t stubbornly convinced this would succeed, positive that Peoria has more to offer when we all work together, I wouldn’t have made it this far. The potential is huge, but I’ve reached a point where gathering the resources is imperative… and I could use your help.

Catching The Vision

I’ve avoided talking much about funding Peoria Music Live for quite awhile, but all of the ideas I've had for making Peoria Music Live better and more effective keep being put on a shelf while I work on the day-to-day of the business... and not only is that not sustainable, it isn't what PML was designed to do.

I want to get back to doing what I love… creating content and sharing my vision! The list of ideas I have is always growing and it's really exciting! The way we get to them is by making sure PML is fully funded.

Before I share HOW you can help, let me show you what an fully funded Peoria Music Live looks like…

“The music scene will slow down when Summer is over.”

Guess what? NOVEMBER starts TOMORROW! What was that you said about a slow down? It’s not happening… keep reading to find out what is!

It’s hard to believe a little over a year ago I knew nothing about live local music or Peoria’s music scene! How did I learn so much in the last year? Listening… to musicians, to venue owners, to venue staff, to bookers and managers and promoters… but mostly it was listening to the fans!

Now, you can support live local music by sharing your thoughts, opinions, and stories with others!
